The International Stock Exchange has secured a UKP35m loan to develop the paperless Taurus Transfer and Automated Registration of Uncertified Stock computerised settlement system: participants include Barclays Bank Plc, National Westminster Plc, Citibank NA, Hill Samuel Bank Ltd, Lloyds Bank Plc, Midland Bank Plc, Mitsubishi Trust and Banking Corp, Nikko Bank (UK) Ltd, Royal Bank of Scotland, Sumitomo Bank Ltd, The Bank of Scotland, Bank of England, Legal and General Group Plc, Norwich Union Fund Managers, and Prudential Assurance Co.
