Flegdling electronic data interchange value-added network operator International Network Services Ltd – 60%-owned by ICL, 40% by GE Information Services, has won a coup in the battle to gain control of the emerging UK health market with a contract to supply the North West Thames Regional Health Authority with data interchange services: the authority has decided to expand an existing trial of electronic data interchange by linking into the Tradanet service with MS-DOS micros: other parts of the Health Service are already on Tradanet and this was a factor in the decision.
