Fremont, California-based Interlink Computer Sciences Inc has a new product for its Software Network Solution/SNA Gateway family of DECnet-SNA integration products: the new SNS/PrintQ enables VAX/VMS users and application programs to access any IBM-based printer in an SNA network from local VMS print queues; it also enables users to specify the time that a file is printed, allowing for off-hours printing and the freeing of resources for time-critical jobs; SNS/PrintQ supports VAX/VMS security options, and provides error messages and debugging facilities; it is installed using VMSINSTAL and other facilities include bidirectional file transfer, terminal emulation, and accounting features.
