Waltham, Massachusetts-based publishing software developer Interleaf Inc says it is restructuring its international field operations, which have experienced declining revenues in the past three quarters, to cut costs: it will consolidate its European telephone support operations and create a centralised support centre in Germany, will increase its emphasis on development of its consulting business, which represents 18% of worldwide revenues, and its Alternative Channels Business; it will close several offices in Canada and Europe resulting in the lay-off of 30 people; Interleaf 6 software will ship this month on Unix workstations running Motif and in the first quarter of 1994 under Microsoft Corp’s Windows and Windows NT.
