INTERGRAPH TO REPORT LOSS

Huntsville, Alabama-based Intergraph Corp, which just decided that there was no long-term future for its Clipper RISC and that it should throw in its lot with Sun Microsystems Inc and the Sparc (CI No 2,206) warns that it will report a loss of between $0.38 and $0.43 for the quarter to June 30 last; sales are expected to be in the range of $248m to $253m compared with $289m for the second quarter of 1992; system orders are expected to total $160m, a significant improvement over the first quarter of 1993 but below the $206m that it reported in the second quarter of last year.
