InterGlobe Technologies (IGT), India-based provider of IT and BPO services to the travel and transportation industry, has opened a 500 seat BPO delivery centre located at Fort Bonifacio in Taguig City, Metro Manila, Philippines.
According to InterGlobe, the total investment of the new BPO facility is in multi-million US dollars and has complete training facilities and IT and telecommunications infrastructure. It specialises in travel and hospitality processes.
Vipul Doshi, IGT CEO, said IGT caters to global clients across six continents. We are building multiple service and delivery centres as part of our global delivery model. Our expansion in Manila is an important addition to our global footprint. It will also help our clients take advantage of global redundancy and service capabilities.
Deanne Calma, program director of InterGlobe Technologies Philippines, said: IGT will be the very first BPO specialising in travel and hospitality processes in Philippines. We have a solid mix of the best of both worlds in our leadership team and we offer a career to all our associates.
In addition, IGT has the plan to further grow its delivery infrastructure by instituting new facilities in other parts of the world like Romania, Poland, Brazil and Spain.
