INTERDIGITAL CUTS 23% OF WORKFORCE IN ROOT-AND-BRANCH RESTRUCTURING

King of Prussia, Pennsylvania-based InterDigital Communications Corp has cut its workforce by 23% or about 40 people, and has implemented other cost-cutting and efficiency enhancement measures. A top to bottom corporate re-engineering and right-sizing has been completed, it said, promising immediate results in terms of cost, service and time that will enable it to respond fast to worldwide requests for its Broadband-Code Division Multiple Access and Time Division Multiple Access kit.
