Interactive Intelligence purchases CallTime Solutions

Strategy to ramp up growth in targeted regions outside of North America

By CBR Staff Writer

Unified IP business communications offerings provider Interactive Intelligence Group has acquired Australia-based reseller CallTime Solutions.

The price of the acquisition has not been disclosed, though Interactive has bought 100% of CallTime’s privately held stock in a cash-only transaction.

CallTime has been a reseller of Interactive Intelligence’s software in Australia and New Zealand since the last 13 years, operating from offices in Sydney, Melbourne, and Auckland.

Under the deal, CallTime will operate as part of the Interactive Intelligence sales and services organisation in the Australia-New Zealand region.

Interactive said the acquisition forms part of the company’s strategy of boosting growth in targeted regions outside of North America, and also complements the recent opening of its Sydney data centre, which supports its growing communications-as-a-service business.

Interactive said it will continue to market its offerings throughout Australia and New Zealand, both through its existing channel and directly, and the headquarters for the combined joint entity will be in Sydney.
