Fremont, California-based Intelligent Computers & Technologies Inc has four new Pentium-based multimedia systems, the Intelesys P560M, P566, P566E and the P590, in its Intelesys product line, which are configured to meet the high performance demands of small and home office users. Prices for the new systems range from under $2,000 to $2,800. The systems all include MS-DOS, Windows for Workgroups, Money, Works, Publisher and Encarta; 8Mb RAM, 256Kb cache, PCI-IDE bus and a Peripheral Component Interconnect video local bus, 520Mb hard drive, telephony capabilities featuring voice mail with 10 mailboxes expandable to 999 mailboxes, remote paging and answering machine; 14.4Kbps facsimile modem and 15 digitally controlled flat screen monitors. The multimedia features include a 16-bit sound/MIDI hi-fi synthesiser and a double speed Photo CD CD-ROM.
