INTEL TURNS TO PHOENIX

Phoenix Technologies Ltd, Norwood, Massachusetts is to provide the BIOS and related PS/2-compatible system software to Intel Corp for use with Intel’s 82310 Micro Channel-compatible chip set. It says it is shipping optimised versions of the software to users of the 82310 set, and that it can be used with the 80386 and 80386SX. Licensees include Tandy and Dell Computer.
