INTEL TO BECOME SILICON VENDOR FOR CHIPS DESIGNED WITH SILICON COMPILER SYSTEMS’ GENESIL COMPILATION SYSTEM

Silicon Compiler Systems Corp, San Jose, and Intel Corp, Santa Clara have a letter of intent for Intel to become a value-added silicon vendor for chips designed with Silicon Compiler Systems’ Genesil compilation system: Intel will provide initial silicon foundry services and users will be able to compile their application-specific integrated circuits using Intel’s high-performance 1.5 micron CMOS.
