DualCor was granted a trademark for its name by the US Patent and Trademark office in mid-2006, and now alleges Intel has misappropriated that trademark. DualCor is seeking unspecified damages and an injunction against further alleged trademark infringement.
While Intel is not the only chipmaker to use the term dual core in its branding, DualCor has not filed suit against other companies.
