Broadridge Financial Solutions, a provider of technology-based outsourcing services, has announced that Intel is the first corp. to use a number of company’s new e-solutions aimed to meet Intel’s goal of enhancing communications with its stockholders.
With these services, Intel is the first public company to host a virtual shareholder meeting and a shareholder forum on The Investor Network, said Broadridge.
Broadridge’s virtual shareholder meeting service will be used in conjunction with Intel’s in-person annual meeting on May 20, 2009. Broadridge said that its unique ability to validate investors enables shareholders to attend, present questions, and vote online during the meeting, thereby making it more inclusive and more interactive.
As part of Intel’s initiative to create communications with its stockholders, it is also hosting a shareholder forum on The Investor Network.
Robert Schifellite, president of investor communication solutions at Broadridge, said: We are excited to partner with Intel as our first client to utilize the virtual shareholder meeting and to host a shareholder forum on The Investor Network. Our collaboration enables Intel to provide its stockholders with a very efficient way to participate in its annual meeting, and also allows for interactive communication on a variety of topics outside the annual meeting process.
