INTEL SEES ORDER PICK-UP BY MAY 1989

Intel Corp looks for orders for its microprocessors to start picking up again in the second quarter of next year, judging by information from its 20 biggest customers, who account for 80% of orders. It also looks for combined 80386 and 80286 orders for 1989 to be well above the 1988 levels for the two.
