The 600,000 shares in Micron Technology Inc on which Intel Corp has an option under its memory chip supply agreement with Micron (CI No 895) represents only about 2.25% of the Boise, Idaho company’s equity: the news was good for a $1.375 jump in Micron’s shares to $21.125, and will help create 1,000 new jobs.
