INTEGRIX INTRODUCE NEW SPARC 2 CLONE

Sparc add-on house Integrix Inc has a new LSI Logic Corp Sparc-based 50MHz-35.6 MIPS-5.3 MFLOPS Sparc 2 clone, the SS2+ Basic System, for $3,000: the firm says it provides significant improvement in both integer and floating point performance over the Sparcstation 2 and Sun Microsystems Inc’s new Classic and LX models; running either Solaris 1.X or 2.X, it has three SBus expansion slots, integrated Ethernet and SCSI disk controllers.
