Integrien has launched Alive 7, a new version of its software. The offering includes new root cause and problem isolation algorithms and new visualisations that provide insight into the performance of IT infrastructure, applications, and business services across the entire enterprise.

Alive 7 features new visualisations that allow business and IT users to identify and understand performance issues in complex environments. A new ‘mashup’ capability provides unification of multiple application and business vitals, presenting them in a correlated view.

The company said that the new Scoreboard visualisation allows users to build on-the-fly, unified representations of IT infrastructure, application and business metrics in a single dashboard without writing a single line of code. Another new Alive 7 visualisation allows users to play back the historical results of Alive’s analytics faster than real time so that behavioral trends can be identified across even massive data sets.

According to Integrien, Alive 7 brings advances in root cause determination and problem isolation. These new developments allow IT staff to identify the silo of technology where the problem originated, and the root cause symptoms so the problem can be immediately repaired.

Steve Henning, VP of marketing at Integrien, said: “Alive 7 uses powerful new analytics to transform existing monitoring data into real-time, actionable information about the performance health of their applications and business services.

“With this unified understanding of performance behavior, IT staff now have a common frame of reference for collaboration on performance-related issues, enabling a truly proactive approach to performance management.”
