Dutch computer and peripherals distributor LCI Computer Group NV, ‘s-Hertogenbosch, says its net profit for 1991 fell to the equivalent of $2.0m against previous expectations of $2.65m for the period, and net profit for 1990 of $4.5m. Turnover was up 7% to $65m. The group said the shortfall in profits against the expected figure is the result of a number of incompleted integration contracts that will now be booked in the 1992 year. The figures also include an extraordinary charge of $1.1m for the cost-cutting operations carried out by the company during the year. LCI says it expects profits to rise in 1992 as a result of the cost-cutting and growth in the company’s service activities.
