Integrated Systems Inc, the Sunnyvale, California-based embedded operating software company has announced the resignation of its president and chief executive, David St Charles. St Charles has been in his post for the past five years, during which he managed to increase the company’s revenue from $32m to $120.5m for the last year (CI No 3,380). It is not clear why St Charles has decided to jump ship, but his parting from the organization appears to be amicable. The company was unavailable to comment as we went to press, but it is understood that St Charles will remain in his post for the next few months while Integrated Systems finds a new president and CEO. In a statement, St Charles said he will stay until his replacement is installed to ensure a smooth transition.
