INTEGRATED COMPUTER SYSTEMS & CYBERNETICS WINS CONTRACT FROM LEGAL AND GENERAL ASSURANCE

IBM leasing agent Integrated Computer Systems & Cybernetics Ltd, has won its first major contract since a recent management buy out from its floundering ICS Group parent; the company has signed a deal worth UKP9.5m with Legal and General Assurance to lease an IBM 3090 600E, which will be installed, alongside an Amdahl 5890 600E, at the company’s new Kingswood-based data centre: the processors will replace an existing IBM 3090 300E and two Amdahl 5870 and 5890 300E mainframes.
