InteCom Inc, the Allen, Texas digital speech and data switch manufacturing subsidiary of Wang Laboratories Inc, has signed a co-marketing agreement with Compco Inc., a US Wang value added reseller and provider of call accounting/network management software. The agreement allows InteCom, in co-operation with Compco, to offer any of the Compco software options to run in conjuction with its S/10, S/80 and S/80+ systems. InteCom’s key product is the IBX Integrated Business Exchange, a digital non blocking PABX offering voice and data integration to every user. The IBX collects call detail information for both voice and data. The Compco software accepts InteCom’s Deluxe Call Detail Recording and generates the reports needed for effective systems management and cost control. And, not too surprisingly, the software runs on Wang’s VS business computers.
