Intec, a provider of business and operations support systems, has signed a contract to provide InterconnecT bureau services for BBCOM, one of Benin’s mobile operators.

The Intec Service Bureau, run by experienced local partner Ibex, is expected to give BBCOM essential competitive edge by delivering accurate invoices, improved interconnection costs, the ability to easily solve existing billing disputes while delivering return on investment (ROI).

BBCOM is expected to derive immediate benefit from Intec’s InterconnecT technology through driving down the costs of its wholesale business for a limited investment.

The Intec service bureau will also offer BBCOM a future smooth transition path to an in-house dedicated system where the implementation is fully reusable.
