Leading the way is a major upgrade to its flagship S-PLUS 7 statistical analysis tool, which now features a new pipeline architecture to handle very large data sets, a revamped integrated development environment, a broader range of advanced statistical functions, and more flexible graphical charting.
The Seattle, Washington-based company also announced a new version of S+ArrayAnalyzer 2.1, its microarray analysis tool that now comes with beefed-up performance and scalability, widens support for statistical analysis methods, and provides integration with Spotfire’s DecisionSite 8.1 analytic platform.
In addition, Insightful rolled out new versions of its S-PLUS modules aimed at financial trading applications. Updated versions of its S+FinMetrics 2.0 and S-NuOPT 1.6 modules now offer comprehensive support financial modeling, analysis, simulation, forecasting, and portfolio services to help investment banks manage risk.
