Infosys Technologies has completed an IT enabled business transformation program for Thermax India, a provider of energy and environment engineering solutions.
According to Infosys, the program addresses complex business requirements in the environmental solutions and water and waste management solutions divisions of Thermax, across supply chain management, distribution, financial and customer relationship management functions. The program also meets India-specific legal and statutory requirements.
Infosys said that it has enhanced Thermax’s business operations by enabling a single data view for efficient decision making, and facilitated better productivity through leaner business processes. This program will also enable better transaction turnaround for Thermax including faster customer invoicing, order execution, inventory management and planning and purchasing.
M S Unnikrishnan, Managing Director of Thermax said: “We, at Thermax, as part of our business integration plan, are unifying our operations under a singular ERP platform. Even though this would be Infosys’ first Oracle implementation in India, we chose Infosys to partner us because of the faith and respect we have in the brand.
