The agreemnet will ensure that the release of BroadVision One-To-One(R) Enterprise 6.0, the next generation of BroadVision’s advanced, scalable e-business platform will be able to take advantage of the scalability and extensibility of the latest version of Informix Dynamic Server(TM) (IDS 9).

This agreement truly builds on the strengths of both partners, as it will provide customers with the breadth of BroadVision’s robust e-business applications with IDS 9, which is ideally suited to meet the increasing data demands associated with e-commerce operations, said Brian Staff, vice president of marketing, Informix Software.

In addition to significant performance enhancements and new deployment options, BroadVision One-To-One Enterprise 6.0 adds Java(TM) 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE(TM)) support, including support for Enterprise JavaBeans(TM) (EJBTM) component architecture, JavaServer Pages(TM) (JSP(TM)) technology and Java Servlet application programming interfaces (APIs). The new Java technology-based features make BroadVision One-To-One Enterprise 6.0 one of the most open e-business application environments available. Other standards supported include JavaScript(TM) technology, C++, COM, CORBA, XML, XSL, LDAP, WML and WAP. Porting BroadVision’s new release to IDS 9 will provide an advanced online transaction-processing (OLTP) platform that delivers proven performance and scalability as well as the extensibility and flexibility of object-relational technology.
