Business intelligence ( BI) and analytics firm Information Builders has partnered with enterprise data management (EDM) applications provider GoldenSource to enhance data management capabilities.
Information Builders’ BI and analytics platform WebFOCUS complements GoldenSource’s EDM application by delivering advanced visualisation and analytical insights.
The BI company will leverage GoldenSource’s platform to enable securities and investment management operations with data.
As part of the partnership, GoldenSource’s requirements for an enterprise-class BI will be supported by WebFOCUS, in addition to Information Builders’ support to facilitate the integration.
GoldenSource will benefit from Information Builders’ content in BI and practices in building dashboards and reports.
Information Builders president and CEO Gerald Cohen said the enhanced capital asset management functionality that the partnership brings to Information Builders’ WebFOCUS application allows it to deliver improved data management, storage and distribution benefits to its customers.
