Infor says its ERP suite offers reduced implementation time as well as faster access to manufacturing information, from order receipt to delivery. New productivity enhancing features allow users to view and process information with fewer keystrokes needed to obtain data.
The products provide advanced planning and scheduling, quality management, customer relationship management, time and attendance, business intelligence and warehouse management capabilities built in.
Productivity features of ERP Visual 6.5.2 include user configurable panels that can be launched to drill down into associated data. Through one-click, a user can activate customized panels of information, view the data and make rapid, informed decisions.
Editable browse functionality, allowing users to browse and edit multiple records simultaneously or export the information into Microsoft Excel, edit, and then re-import is also one of the new features.
Visual enables manufacturers to recognize failures within quality control, trace the underlying issues back to the originating action or transaction, then make appropriate adjustments before problems occur, says Jeff Ralyea, VP product management of Infor.
