Business application software provider Infor has partnered with process manufacturing and product lifecycle applications provider Oak Barrel Software to enhance Infor10 PLM Process (Optiva) with additional modules for supplier collaboration, product specification, document management, and recipe building.
The addition of new modules will enable improved supply chain collaboration and document management capabilities to accelerate time-to-market and ensure improved accuracy of product development across the supply chain.
Enhanced modules delivered by Infor and Oak Barrel Software include Infor10 PLM Process Material SpecSafe, Product SpecSafe and Recipe Builder.
Material SpecSafe module will enable process manufacturers to meet specifications, audit compliance, and certification for product requirements, reducing the likelihood of a recall and decreasing compliance issues.
Product SpecSafe enables process manufacturers to provide new product specifications across the entire supply chain, enabling enhanced customer collaboration and an efficient way for Sales and Marketing departments to generate and input new ideas for Product Development.
The Recipe Builder module will helps companies in batch manufacturing industries create recipes that are S-88 compliant. It also allows for process visualisation of the recipe steps and can integrate directly with MES Systems in the plant for manufacturing.
