Business application software firm Infor has acquired a number of new product lines from service and quality control management firm RSVP Business Systems.
The acquisition includes Quality Control Solution (QCS), an application built with Infor’s Mongoose development toolset, which provides manufacturers the support for quality incidents, change management, responses to audit findings, machine and maintenance issues, safety, training, and opportunities for continuous improvements.
With the addition of these products, Infor’s offerings will benefit manufacturers primarily through a direct relationship with Infor and closer alignment of RSVP and Infor products.
QCS is architecturally compatible with Infor10 ERP Business (SyteLine) and other Infor applications, enabling easy integration and accelerated development.
To provide greater synergies between the QCS product and existing Infor product offerings, Infor intends to deliver significant product enhancements and to integrate the new QCS products with a number of core Infor platforms.
By partnering with Infor, customers who have been working with RSVP previously will also benefit with a focus on product innovation and customer value and customers will also benefit from unified support from a single vendor, reducing critical response time and streamlining access to product support.
