Infonet Services Corp has established a centre in the Asia-Pacific region for diagnosing and resolving global network performance issues: the new facility, which opened in Tokyo, has been integrated with Infonet’s global network diagnostic centres in California and Belgium; shareholder Kokusai Denshin Denwa Co Ltd has made a multimillion dollar investment by housing the Infonet Asia-Pacific Centre in its building, staffing and managing the facility and buying equipment for it; Infonet revenues generated by network traffic originating in the Asia-Pacific grew more than 30% in 1993, and the outlook for 1994 is equally promising, the firm said.
