With eight manufacturing facilities across North America and a fleet of nearly 300 trucks making daily deliveries, the manufacturer needed to quickly transform its time-consuming delivery process.
By signing for a custom application developed through the InfoLogix Intuitive Mobile Software platform, the customer expects its fleet to start benefiting from the new application approximately five weeks from the project start date.
The new application is designed to simplify the delivery process for the manufacturer’s truck drivers, and enable business intelligence from each delivery to be used to optimize workflow within the enterprise. For example, the application will enable a driver to scan and capture all shipment information and immediately enter product condition reports. If a defective product arrives onsite, a request can be put through to dispatch service immediately, or a replacement can be made ready for dispatch at the warehouse.
