InfoLogix said that it has been selected by Hawaii-based Hilo Medical Center (HMC) for a multi-year engagement to provide wireless managed services and cellular installation across the HMC facility.

InfoLogix said that its wireless as a service offering delivers enhanced wireless connectivity as a managed service, enabling hospitals to achieve ongoing access to a fully-functional wireless infrastructure on as a pay-as-you-go basis.

The offering provides for the purchase, installation and maintenance of the wireless network throughout the entire hospital and secure access to patient information accessible to all caregivers, whether onsite or remote, the company said.

According to InfoLogix, it will manage HMC’s wireless infrastructure, including help desk, network monitoring, an on-demand portal, and all other components necessary to drive the vital EMR, voice and data communications.
