Housed in one of China’s most secure data centers, the new infrastructure is currently supporting major manufacturing companies in their use of eSPC – InfinityQS’ web-based solution for enterprise and supply chain quality management.

InfinityQS’ eSPC is Software as a Service (SaaS) application that provides real-time quality monitoring and analysis tools for manufacturing processes. The system collects quality data from the production environment and instantaneously makes it available to designated locations worldwide. Because companies do not host the eSPC application and underlying IT infrastructure themselves, it is imperative that InfinityQS’ servers, databases, network equipment and security devices perform optimally on a 24/7/365 basis.

This new data center offers greater speed, reliability and security to eSPC users in China. A VPN connects the Chinese and US data centers, and the data is replicated in both locations for added security and reliability. This fully redundant network ensures that eSPC users will have immediate access to their quality data (and their suppliers’ data) whether they are located in China or the US.

Michael Lyle, president and CEO of InfinityQS, said: Establishing a data center for our eSPC solution in China was the logical next step in our plan to create a global network to support the growing demand for our quality solutions. Our client base in China is expanding rapidly, and we needed to have the IT infrastructure in place to ensure security, speed, and 24/7/365 availability for our customers. With the increasing number of recalls and supplier quality issues, we recognized the demand for a real-time solution that directly addressed supply chain quality.
