INDUSTRIAL INACTION AT VNU

By CBR Staff Writer

Seems a bit bizarre that the computer journalists at VNU Business Publications were taking industrial inaction yesterday because the management is refusing to satisfy their demands to be paid extra for deigning to trade in their clunking manual typewriters for word processors: sad to say, people only learn from experience, and we can guarantee that if after six months’ experience of the new technology they were required to go back to using typewriters, the current little spat would be as nothing compared with the howls of pain and anguish that would greet such an edict.
