INDIA’S TATA BUNDLES ACCOUNTS SOFTWARE WITH NT

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), India’s largest software firm, will bundle its next generation accounting package EX New Gen with Microsoft’s SQL Server database and Windows NT platform. This should help Microsoft move into the small and medium enterprise market, says Rajiv Nair, Microsoft’s regional director, India sub-continent. In the last 18 months other vertical application vendors like Baan NV, Peoplesoft Inc, Ramco and JD Edwards Ltd have also ported their applications on Microsoft’s SQL server. á
