Intertechnique SA’s IN2 computing subsidiary has agreed to acquire the 51% shareholding in Personalike builder Leanord SA currently held by Sfe’na SA. IN2 says it wants a link with the Lille company because it presently has no low-end micros in its family of Pick-based machines and wants to offer Pick on Leanord’s Personalikes. Leanord, looking to do near $4m this year, will remain a free-standing company with Instruments SA holding 29%, Matra 10%, and its president, 10%.
