IMRglobal Corp, the Clearwater, Florida-based IT services provider, has agreed to acquire ECWerks Inc, a two-year-old e-commerce business and technology consultants from Tampa, Florida. ECWerks made $2m in revenues over the last 12 months. The agreed price for the sale is $5m in stock, with further payments dependent on performance this year. IMRglobal will account for the acquisition as a purchase. IMRglobal – also known as Information Management Resources – also agreed to acquire Atechsys SA, a Paris, France-based business and technology consultants with revenues equivalent to $11m. IMRglobal issued 720,000 shares worth around $2.1m for all outstanding Atechsys stock The acquisition will be accounted a pooling of interest. Atechsys is the second French company IMRglobal has moved to acquire: last year it bought Lyons Consultants SA. IMRglobal, which helps companies move from legacy systems to open architecture, made revenues last year of $111.6m.
