ILOG PUTS ITS OBJECT-ORIENTED DEVELOPMENT TOOLS UP ON DEC’s ALPHA RISC MACHINES UNDER OSF/1

French object-oriented development tool supplier Ilog SA reports that its SMECI and MASAI products are now available for Digital Equipment Corp’s Alpha AXP workstations running the OSF/1 version of Unix. Used largely in industry, SMECI is a development environment for complex applications that covers decision support, diagnostics, process control, configuration, design, and simulation. Man-machine graphic interface generator MASAI features a graphic library with over 100 items, including spreadsheet generator MASAI CALC and MASAI 2D, a tool for integrating two-dimensional vector designs into an interface. Both the products are also available for Windows 3-based personal computers and for Unix and VMS workstations from DEC, Hewlett-Packard Co, IBM Corp and Sun Microsystems Inc.
