IDX Flowcast Metrics Manager delivers a Web-based scorecard of key organizational metrics – including financial performance, quality, and customer satisfaction – that are honed specially for the healthcare sector.
The scorecarding capability is built on top of IDX’s Flowcast software suite, which officials bill as a revenue cycle management system for healthcare organizations.
The suite includes business intelligence tools for creating dashboards and analysis and reporting. Back-end data integration is provided for IDX and non-IDX data systems.
IDX says that the University of Rochester’s medical faculty has already implemented Metrics Manager as part of its corporate performance management strategy. The faculty has used IDX’s Flowcast applications since 1997 and intends to use the new Metrics Manager module to broaden its deployment across more user departments through high-level scorecards.
Burlington, Vermont-based IDX was founded in 1969 to develop data management tools and solutions for the healthcare sector. The company employs 2,100 people and has its products installed in over 3,300 healthcare sites worldwide. Last year it turned over sales of $520.7m.
