IDeaS Revenue Solutions, a provider of revenue management software, services and consulting, has enhanced its V5i Revenue Management System, V5i 5.2, which includes a new reporting framework.
The enhanced features facilitate the delivery of business intelligence, improved navigation and data presentation within the existing V5i Reports Module.
The company said the V5i 5.2 reporting framework is an open source, cross platform, web development structure that allows clients to access data visualisation, additional data exports and dashboard creation.
The offering also improves revenue management tasks by providing line and bar graphs, options to filter various data elements, and an option to export to various essential data formats.
The company said the enhanced V5i 5.2 features a Quoted Rate functionality that allows clients to evaluate a group based on a client-entered rate, providing flexibility in the group evaluation process.
The V5i 5.2 also provides detailed analysis of the tangible impact on transient revenue; and explanation of any benefits that cannot be calculated on a single day.
IDeaS vice president of product management Linda Hatfield said they believe that equipping decision-makers with critical information is vital to driving better revenue and they designed the new functionality to provide hotels with the business intelligence needed to further influence the strategic direction of their organisations.
