eGifts is designed to automate both the payment and telecommunications processing of a bank. Gifts says the software is available on multiple platforms, such as the IBM Pseries or i5 Servers/AIX operating system, the windows server suite and Sun/Solaris.
The system is browser-based, and requires no special software on the user PC. Instead, users connect to the eGifts server by use of a web-browser, such as Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0.
