As part of the agreement, Zodiac will bring its existing titles to the HeadendWare content lineup, allowing play using digital set-top boxes and standard remote controls.
The aim of the collaboration, according to the companies, is to optimize the play experience and capital characteristics of the games service with intelligent menuing, community based gaming and personalization services via the HeadendWare platform.

The ability to expand the footprint of our existing game distribution to the millions of thin-client boxes already installed, and to use HeadendWare when necessary to support more complex titles will provide network operators with new ways to attract and retain iTV subscribers.
