ICL UPGRADES ITS QUATTRO MULTI-USER PC

ICL has upgraded its Quattro 8MHz 80286-based multi-user personal computer with the 5.1 release of Digital Research’s MS-DOS compatible CDOS, which supports up to 5Mb for applications, and a 700Kb application window that enables as many 700Kb programs to run concurrently as there is room in main memory: it supports up to six VDUs and a printer and ICL has a new ?400 14 display for the machine as well as a new port expansion feature that enables up to 12 async and two sync RS232s, and an RS422 for local nets to be supported on the XM model.
