ICL Plc’s patient maintenance of a representative office in Moscow ever since 1968 is beginning to pay off and the company has been awarded a UKP1.5m contract by the Soviet Trade Ministry for three small Series 39 mainframes running the Tradanet electronic data interchange software, linked to a network of personal computers in 200 offices.
