ICL-LED CONSORTIUM BIDS FOR $100M RESEARCH PROJECT

An ICL-led consortium including Bull and Siemens is bidding for a $100m research project in future parallel processing architectures under the European Community’s Esprit 2 programme: according to the Financial Times, a rival consortium for the project is being put together by Olivetti and Philips.
