ICL’s brave adventure where, following acquisition of the US operations of Cogar Inc from Singer Co, it took over a disused shopping mall in Utica, upstate New York, and manufactured point-of-sale peripherals and did development work there, has finally ended with the closure of the last remaining operation, the 76-employee research and development facility.
