IBM’S ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE END OF THE 3380 DS AND ES

Oh no, we’ve discontinued our frozen drinks on a stick – but we can still sell you the sticks: IBM’s announcement of the end of the 3380 Ds and Es says Effective February 28, 1989, IBM is withdrawing from marketing the 3380 Models AD4/BD4 and AE4/BE4, including their eligibility for a trial program, their eligibility for RPQs MR1225 and 8S0140, and all specify features except the six-foot power cord.
