IBM WANTS $20m OF SEAGATE 3.5″ DISKS OVER THREE MONTHS

In the meantime, IBM has not reached self-sufficiency in smaller 3.5 disks at its Japanese facility, and according to Electronic News has gone to Seagate Technology Inc for a stop-gap $20m plus order for 40Mb 3.5 drives for the PS/2 and an unannounced laptop over three months.
