IBM UK CUTS PS/2-30 PRICES

IBM UK was giving its personal computer dealers details of cuts on the dealer prices of its PS/2 Model 30 machines as we closed for press yesterday. IBM declined to reveal the new prices, but rumours in the City that the cuts were about 20% were enough to unsettle the shares of Amstrad Plc, whose 80286 and 80386 machines are set to ship.
