And missing from our list of IBM UK announcements in Friday’s issue was the X25 board we mentioned Thursday: the X25 Interface CoProcessor/2 links Model 50 and above to an X25 network and enables it to act as a Packet Terminal with support for synchronous X21 or X21bis communication; as its name implies, the board has its own processor and memory, and there is a companion PC-DOS X25 Co-Processor Support Program providing an X25 Applications Programming Interface; no price or availability date was given for either the board or the program.
